The DAM Way

All you need is a specially coded One Week Marketing affiliate link to send your readers STRAIGHT to The DAM Way AND set your Clickbank affiliate cookie at the same time.
Your Affiliate Link
Your normal One Week Marketing affiliate link looks like this:
http://YourID.potpiegirl.hop.clickbank.net
That link above sends readers straight to the OWM sales page.
If you want to send your readers to The DAM Way, your link will look like this:
http://YourID.potpiegirl.hop.clickbank.net/?page=damway
Obviously replace “YourID” with YOUR Clickbank id.
So, for example, if your unique Clickbank affiliate id is “bubba”, your affiliate link to send readers straight to The DAM Way would look like this:
http://bubba.potpiegirl.hop.clickbank.net/?page=damway
Adding Tracking To Your Link
If you want to add Clickbank tracking (a TID) to your special DAM Way link, it would look like this:
http://YourID.potpiegirl.hop.clickbank.net?tid=XXXXX&page=damway
So, again as an example, say your Clickbank id is ‘bubba’ and you want to track these sales with a specific tracking id letting you know that these sales originated from The DAM Way readers so you want a tracking id (a TID) of ‘tdw’ so you know. You might make your link look like this:
http://bubba.potpiegirl.hop.clickbank.net?tid=tdw&page=damway
In short, to use The DAM Way as a One Week Marketing affiliate tool, you use your normal Clickbank link for OWM:
http://YourID.potpiegirl.hop.clickbank.net
with this part on the end:
/?page=damway
Testing Your Link
Be Sure To ALWAYS Test Your Links!!!
As with ALL affiliate links, always be sure to test them to make sure they work.
To test your special DAM Way link….
Make your link as per the directions above.
Put the link into your browser and make sure the page for The DAM Way loads.
Now, go to OneWeekMarketing.com and click as if your were going to buy OWM (click the ‘add to cart’ button).
Now, scroll to the bottom of the order page and you should see [affiliate=______] with YOUR Clickbank id in the blank after the “=”.

How It Works
When you send someone to The DAM Way via your special affiliate link, your Clickbank cookie is dropped onto the readers computer (just like any other affiliate link). All the links TO One Week Marketing both inside The DAM Way and in follow up emails are NOT affiliate links – they are straight links to OneWeekMarketing.com. This means that your affiliate link is NOT over-ridden and your cookie is preserved for 60 days. The only way this changes is if the person clears their cookies or the reader clicks ANOTHER One Week Marketing affiliate link AFTER yours that belongs to another affiliate. This is normal for ALL Clickbank affiliate links.
So, as people learn from the quality info they got through you in The DAM Way and they learn about One Week Marketing and decide to go buy it, YOU will get the commission.
Using The DAM Way to promote One Week Marketing is a GREAT way to offer value to your readers, gain trust, AND make some sales down the line.

Can You Use The DAM Way Technique To Promote The DAM Way/One Week Marketing?
Yes! You sure can! When forwarding your domain name, just use your special DAM Way affiliate link as the url to send the domain to. Don’t cloak it – just add the forwarding url (your special affiliate link). Once the forwarding “takes”, BE SURE TO CHECK AND MAKE SURE IT WORKS (read above: How To Test Your Link).
Now, just go about your normal DAM Way of making money online and send folks to that domain name =)
